Artist Statement
I am an intuitive artist; as a collector of random and organic objects, I gravitate to these materials as building blocks for my sculptures and mixed-media art.
Most of my work offers a visual landscape of remembrance while exploring the metaphysical atmosphere of emotions traversing the past and the present. Other works are purely a gesture of sentiment passing through from thought to hand.
The viewer is invited to reflect on the tangible and the intangible with an intention to evoke and suspend a peculiar comfort in the absence between.
I recently moved to Chincoteague Island VA and have a home studio.
